K-WAY was founded in 1965 by designer Leon Claude Duhamel. On a rainy day in Paris, he came up with the idea of a nylon rain jacket that could be stowed away compactly. The iconic rain jacket is still well-known today. Even today, the rain jackets can be practically stowed away in their own pockets. The first rain jacket was red and today it is available in all colours, with the coloured zip as a trademark. Le Vrai Claude 4.0 is today made from 100% recycled material. In addition to the popular rain jacket, K-WAY now offers a huge range of jackets, dresses and accessories.
